CBRE and P3 Logistic Parks, in conjunction with specialist sector research agency Analytiqa, have undertaken a survey to assess confidence and expectations in the supply chain and logistics sector across the Czech Republic.
More than 50 senior decision makers have expressed their views and insights to facilitate this important industry research. In addition to sharing their views on the recent performance of the logistics sector, respondents also outlined their expectations over the near term. Respondents included CEO’s, Managing Directors, finance professionals and senior supply chain management of some of the largest logistics providers and buyers of supply chain services across the country.
In brief some of the key findings of this survey include:
59% of our respondents expect to grow turnover / output, 43% are forecasting increased profitability over the next 12 months
Securing the optimal location of a new facility is the biggest property challenge facing warehouse users in the Czech Republic
Improving pay and conditions is the most frequently used strategy to overcome talent and skills shortages
Improving use of technology is the most important strategy for logistics operators to achieve greater profitability
Automation to reduce labour costs and allow to offer higher value services for manufacturers and retailers
Enhancing the volume and quality of training for employees and investing more in recruitment / HR departments are the second and third most frequently adopted approaches
